Guns N' Roses( 以下簡稱GN'R )這首歌的歌詞深度和歌曲結構都很出色，
先說說歌詞部分。
這首歌道盡了身為藝人的辛酸，
還沒成名前，
卑微的乞討粉絲的關注，
然而這就像是賭博。
很多有天份、有努力、有相貌的不一定會成功，
誰也不知道下一刻是不是會爆紅...!?
又或者莫名其妙的被封殺。
總之，
假設經過一番艱辛的搏殺後成名了，
這時候真的就像是在樂園一樣，
食衣住行有保姆伺候，
工作有經紀人照看，
一舉一動都有大批粉絲獻上道賀，
這世界看起來真是美好。
然而這樣的生活過久了就會感到失落，
又會希望再回到最初充滿憬憧及抱定決心的奮鬥。

說起來，
普通人的人生也是如此。
我們努力的追求功成名就，
但最後不過就收獲一個骨灰罐而已。
我聽過一位原住民朋友說起賺錢的笑話，
大意是說有一次他看我們台灣人清明祭祖，
好像都要燒點紙錢、擺上供品，
祈求祖先保佑。
他也學著去祖父墳前祭拜一下，
臨走前想說放個50元硬幣給老祖父花用。
( 鄉下地方花不了多少錢... )
沒想到隔年他在去看看的時候，
驚訝的發現50元硬幣還在。
於是他領悟了一個道理；
人死之後別說銀行裡的錢，
就是子孫燒給你再多的紙錢，
有什麼用...!?
誰能花的到呢...!?

有許多成功人士、專家學者鼓吹著各式言論，
彷彿照著做就真能成功致富，
或者說五子登科才是人生的保障。
真是如此嗎...??
每個人都只是在doin' their time，
rags to riches( 這是英文俚語，意謂從一無所有到家財萬貫，白手起家一夕青雲的意思。 ) 只是個gamble...

題外話好像說太多了，
說說編曲，
這首歌原本就是為了在演唱會上，
讓歌迷能一起歌唱而創作。
因此在安可曲的名單裡，
這首歌絕對名列。
事實上這首歌曲從一開始的鼓點，
然後逐漸加入的guitar、bass，
然後Axl彷彿頌詞般的chorus，
營造出的是絕對的沸騰，
絕對的High翻全場。

寒假裡有不少好戲可看呢...
